Description of artwork

A serene forest scene is depicted, with sunlight streaming through dense trees and illuminating a small waterfall cascading into a flowing stream. The vivid greens and yellows create a tranquil, inviting atmosphere.

"Tranquility" was painted with a palette knife on a canvas. Using a variety of oil soft paints, this scene reminds one of life’s challenges, hidden dangers or fears about the future. A beam of beautiful light, representing our hope despite our adversity reminds the viewer that faith is a journey, fraught with difficulty. Yet, we continue with our journey, confident of the path ahead. Tranquility is a word that represents peace and joy, despite the tragedies and losses we encounter in life. Our hope is renewed and with this strength we get back up again, determined to complete the journey ahead.

Inspiration: as an artist who deals with Multiple Sclerosis every day, pain and fatigue are always with me. But God is faithful. I often experience His joy, peace, and presence despite the hardships of life.
